When you create an account, we collect your email address and any display name you provide. When you make a purchase, payment is processed by Stripe — we do not store your card details. We also collect anonymous usage data such as rooms visited and puzzles completed, tied to your account. We record which country a visit came from, so we know which languages and time zones to build for — the country only, never your city, coordinates or IP address. We also use Google Analytics to count page views, as described below.
Your email is used to authenticate your account and send transactional emails such as purchase receipts. Puzzle progress and completion data power your profile, streaks, and badges. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We use browser local storage to save your puzzle progress, streak data, and preferences between sessions. No third-party advertising cookies are used.
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are visited, so we can improve the site. It may set cookies (such as _ga) and Google receives your browser's request, including your IP address, which Google uses to estimate your country and does not keep. We do not send Google your name, email address or account, Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off, and we run no ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics cookies are only used after you choose Allow on the cookie banner; you can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser. You can also opt out everywhere with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication is handled by Supabase using industry-standard security practices. Payments are handled exclusively by Stripe and never touch our servers.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Stripe-held payment records may be subject to their own retention policies.
